Psalm 139:1-6, 13-18
From the Reformer
It is reported in the life of Luther that, when he prayed, it was with so much reverence as if he were praying to God, and with so much boldness, as if he had been speaking to his friend.

Pulling It Together
Who knows you better than anyone else? Your friends. They are the ones who have spent whole days with you and seen you through difficult nights. They know what you will say, sometimes before you do. The friend who knows you best among all your friends is your closest and best friend. This friend is the Lord. He knows everything about you—yet he remains at your side. Blessed is the one who finds himself found in this friendship of friendships.
