To add to my point...

This morning, after devotions were finished and several of us were talking, one officer kept flipping through different scriptures his cross references would take him to. After reading Psalm 68:1-2, he exclaimed, "Now that's some good shit right there!"

I know. I know. Some folks are going to get bent because he said "shit" in connection with the Bible. Others will get their panties in a wad because I typed it here. Oh, my!

I'm just excited that a man who never read the word, now does, and was so into it that he sputtered out his basic reaction...and then wanted to read the Psalm to us. And did.

I can't remember the last time the typical church-goer got excited about the word and wanted to read it to me.
