National Night Out (NNO) was a lot of work for a low turnout. Still, it was worth it. The Graham Police Department—led by Sgt. Flood—really got out the vendors but the community was sparse. Perhaps it’s because it was so hot (though not as hot as last year). Perhaps it was because the local daily paper reported NNO was going to be tonight instead of last night. Whatever…we still had a fun time.
I even got my hair colored by Mrs. Hancock. So did Hannah…
The best part was Scott getting Sgt Flood cooled off. I probably took this with the wrong setting for night time but it looks pretty “cool” anyway.
Scott and I handed out (from the church) bottles of water and bracelets for the kiddos and Bible puzzle books for adults (and kids).
